Clear and opal lexan covers are bright in the winter. You will be able to enjoy the oudoors no matter what the Northwest weather sends your way. Our covers feature large built in gutters designed to handle water and debris, they have the best drainage system available. The main frame and posts are made of coated aluminum for a durable rust free product. The integrated fluted pattern provides rich detailing. With choices of different see through lexan tops, you can have a cover that lets in light, yet keeps out the rain for a fraction of the cost of a sunroom. The frame is available in White or Bronze.

The clear covers let in the most light. 83% light transmission. We integrated an aluminum "ultra rail" between the posts for a no maintenance railing system that matches this cover very well. The corners of the pictured cover were cut at a 45 degree angle to match the angled vinyl deck. The beam has a ridge design that makes hanging plants a breeze. Many people install track lighting on the beam to illuminate their covered areas for night time entertaining. And some people mount speakers there to provide surround sound. Often these covers are used to cover hot tub areas, making them usable year around.

Lexan thermoclear has 250 times the impact resistance of glass. It easily stands up to rocks and baseballs making it the ideal material for the active family. Lexan is warranted 10 years but we have covers older than that in beautiful condition.

The clear lexan lets in 83% light transmission which is very bright. The Bronze color lets in 42% light transmission as does the opal (white) color featured on the bottom. The nice thing about lexan is how tough it is. It is a poly carbonate that is commonly used for boat and aircraft windows, riot shields, bullet proof glass applications, and heavy duty industrial applications..

One of the biggest challenges for patio and deck covers is finding a cover design that features a rain gutter system capable of handling the heavy rains of the Northwest. Our design features a large gutter system that handles not only the rains, but also has a wide facia gutter system that can be easily cleaned. The downspouts are the same as those used on most homes. The deep dish aluminum pan shown on the left side is extremely rugged. The aluminum pan design can be used in conjunction with the flat lexan panels shown above or with domed acrylic sky lights. The domed sky lights work well with the aluminum pans, especially in areas with lots of overhanging trees because the leaves will wash down off the domes. The facia system is also available in a bronze color for those wanting a more "woodsy" look..

You have a variety of post options as well. The post on the far right in the picture is the one we use the most. It is about 4 inches square with a lovely fluted pattern on it. The posts from left to right are scroll "Ornamental" post, 3 inch square, and our favorite the fluted magnum corner post. We offer these posts in two colors: white or bronze. If you are building a large carport or RV cover, we also can bring in a very large 5 inch square post (not shown) for you.

One other very nice feature of these covers is the ability to run them nearly flat! On many homes there isn't a lot of overhead clearance and a fiberglass or wood cover simply would not leave adequate headroom. These covers are the perfect solution!

We'd love to come out to your home, meet with you and configure a cover to exactly fit your needs. Every body seems to have special needs and desires and luckily there are many, many options available to you. We can help you design your perfect outdoor entertainment spot. Call today and start enjoying that outdoor area of yours.
